Woody is currently the League Commissioner for META High School Esports.
He studied at the University of Auckland and grew up in NZ, but eventually found his way to Australia pursuing a career in gaming and esports. While working full time in Auckland he started running tournaments and events for League of Legends on the weekends. This led to a role as a community specialist at Riot Games Sydney for a number of years where he worked on a variety of projects around the game and community.
Now he is responsible for all aspects of META High School Esports ecosystem and does whatever it takes to ensure its success and sustainability.
META High School Esports are owned by the Adelaide Football Club. They engage with schools, parents and governments to help local youth improve life skills and educational outcomes through their passion for gaming and esports. One of their main projects is the yearly META High School Esports League.
